1. PrestaKick's role
For Merchants: We directly manage your account and profile data in order to provide the service. For Shoppers: We act only as a data processor on behalf of the Merchant. All shopper interactions with AI are owned and controlled by the Merchant.
2. Information we collect
a. Merchant data Account information: Name, email address, securely encrypted password, and contact information. Store connection: Information required to connect our AI system to your PrestaShop store. Payment information: Your transactions are processed directly and securely by the international payment provider LemonSqueezy. PrestaKick does not access, collect, or store your credit card information or sensitive banking data. We only store basic information returned by LemonSqueezy to manage the service, including the subscription plan, plan status (active, overdue, canceled, etc.), billing cycle dates, and invoice history shown in your dashboard. b. Shopper data Interaction content: Chat history with the AI assistant, images uploaded for search, and search terms. Shopping information: Information about products viewed or ordered so the AI system can provide the most relevant recommendations. Basic browsing data: IP address, device type, and country to optimize display and prevent spam or abusive access.
3. How we use data
We use data only for purposes that support your store: • Operating AI features such as the Chatbot, Smart Search, and Product Recommendations. • Providing analytics that show how much revenue AI generates. • Preventing fraud and protecting the security of the platform.
4. Our Artificial Intelligence (AI) commitment
We use leading AI technologies, but follow one clear principle: your product data, messages, and customer information are NEVER taken to train general-purpose AI models belonging to third parties. Your data is used only to support sales for your own store.
5. Sharing data with third parties
We never sell or rent your data. Data is transferred only through infrastructure partners needed to maintain the service, including: • Hosting and network security providers. • Payment processor (LemonSqueezy). • Automated email service providers. • AI language-processing platform providers.
6. Data security
Separate storage environments: Each store's data is secured within an independent storage environment. Data from different stores is not mixed. Strong encryption: Passwords, connection keys, and confidential information are encrypted using modern security standards.
7. Data control and deletion
For Merchants: You may request the deactivation and deletion of your account and all store data from our systems at any time. Shopper privacy: We provide tools that allow Merchants to permanently remove shoppers' personally identifiable information, such as email addresses, phone numbers, and names, from chat history upon request, supporting compliance with applicable privacy laws.
8. Use of cookies
PrestaKick uses essential browser storage to keep Merchants signed in, remember preferences, protect the service, and preserve requested features such as chat history. These technologies do not require consent. With your prior consent, we also use Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics to understand navigation, product usage, and user experience. These optional analytics tools remain disabled unless you accept them. You can reject or withdraw analytics consent at any time through Cookie settings without losing access to the service. We do not use cookies for cross-site behavioural advertising.
