Follow these four steps to connect your store to PrestaKick and test the Widget.

Preparation

You'll need:

• An account with permission to install modules in the PrestaShop Back Office.
• A PrestaKick account with a verified email address.
• The PrestaShop server can connect to the Internet via HTTPS.
• Permission to configure scheduled tasks on the hosting account, or help from the person who manages it.

Step 1: Create a shop on the Dashboard

1. Open https://prestakick.com and select Sign up or Log in.
2. If you just registered, open PrestaKick's email and verify your account.
3. On the Set up your shop screen, enter your store's name and domain.
4. Select Create shop.

The account that creates the shop becomes its owner. See for details.

Step 2: Install and connect the module

Download the module from the Dashboard using Download Module or from PrestaShop Addons, then install it in the Back Office PrestaShop.

To connect using OAuth:

1. Open PrestaKick AI → Connection in the module.
2. Select Connect with PrestaKick.
3. Log in to the Dashboard if asked, and then select the correct store.
4. Select Confirm connection.
5. Return to the module and check the Connected status.
6. Select Save configuration.

Always start the OAuth process from the module.

Step 3: Set up recurring tasks

The recurring task (cron) sends an activity signal and transfers pending changes from PrestaShop to PrestaKick.

1. Open Cron Jobs → Settings in the module.
2. Copy the cron command provided by the module.
3. Add a command to your hosting's scheduler to run at the frequency shown on the screen.
4. Open Cron Jobs → Logs to check the last run.

The cron URL contains a security token. Do not post it publicly.

After a few minutes, the Dashboard will update the connection status. If you still see Offline or Degraded, see .

Step 4: Check and enable the Widget

1. Open the Widget in the module.
2. To test it privately, keep Show Widget off and add your IP under Preview IPs.
3. Adjust the title, color, and position as needed.
4. Select Save configuration and check the Widget on the website.
5. When ready, turn on Show Widget and save again.

On the Dashboard, open Settings → Domains & Access and check the store domain in Allowed storefront domains. Only the owner can access this section.

Check the results

• Your store has appeared in the Dashboard.
• The module shows Connected.
• Cron has completed successfully under Logs.
• The dashboard no longer reports Offline after the update period.
• The widget is visible to the test IP or to all guests, depending on the configuration.
• You've sent a test message from the Widget.
